Spring

Updated: Jun 28

Three times I year, I take a full day outside of my office for a "work-in."

My Components

  1. Go somewhere peaceful

  2. Just me

  3. Time just to reflect on the past few months vs. work

  4. End it with friends + fun

For my annual Spring Clearing, I booked a day pass at the Halycon Hotel. Found my office for the day next to the rooftop pool and dove in.

Journal in hand, I scrolled through January to April.

What happened?

What wins did I have in the business?

What memories did I make in life?

Where did I stumble?

Where did I grow?

What was a surprise?

What was a failure?

Growth comes from reflection.

Understanding who you are, where you are, and what has informed your path.

I find this time away to be invaluable.

It provided me the time to:

Slow down

Self-acknowledge

Notice patterns

Celebrate

and...

Continue to create goals for my life and work that are aligned with what matters most.

Although we did not offer the live version of the Spring Clearing Retreat this year, I wanted to share the worksheet that I created for my reflection time. I hope that it supports you in creating work that is aligned with what brings you the most joy.
