Which Way to the Right Way?

I have been fortunate to live in a few different cities in the US and dedicate available time & finances to traveling each year. I feel like in past lives, I have been a craftswoman in Mexico, a tour guide in Paris and sweet Italian grandmother in the hills of Tuscany. It fills my soul to wander & explore. Each place that I visit a new place, I try to immerse myself into the natural energy that already exists. The less I concern myself with seeing "the right things" or translating an entire menu so that I know what I am eating, the more fully involved I feel with the community around and in sync with the universe as a whole.

The same type of living could definitely serve me more when I am not on vacation; this attitude of going with the flow. Instead of being so focused inside the many complexities of the mind where I can battle "Is this right? What should I be doing? What will they think?", I am trying on being fully involved in the activity that I am enjoying at the moment: without judgement, without resistance and an effortless acceptance that THIS moment is exactly as it should be.

What is the right way? The one in which you feel most alive, most free, most at peace. Will there still be questions? Hell yes. That is the beauty of living.

"Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not seek the answers which cannot be given to you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live in the questions now. Perhaps you will gradually, without noticing, live along some distant day into the answer."

–Rainer Maria Rilke
