I am working on a new project.
When I give myself quiet space, I can see the final product. I can feel its impact.
Yet I know it will take months—maybe longer than a year—to get there. Patience, discipline, and grace will be required.
When you plant a seed, you don’t stand over it demanding it sprout overnight.
You place it gently in the soil, give it water and light, and trust the unseen work happening beneath the surface.
Growth is slow, quiet, and often invisible for a long time.
Yet, in a culture of instant gratification, it can feel uncomfortable to walk this way.
We’re encouraged to chase quick wins, visible results, and immediate proof that our efforts are “working,” that we are doing enough. That we are enough.
But the truth is, the most potent work rarely reveals itself all at once.
Its potency lives in the daily rhythm of showing up—in the discipline of steady action, in the willingness to take the next right step even when the outcome remains unseen.
When your work is aligned with your values and your purpose, the result is never just for you. The seeds you plant grow into something larger, rippling outward to nourish the collective.
Even if the growth feels slow, its impact runs deep.
So keep tending. The unfolding will come on its own time.
