Risk

"The risk is the way.”– Rainier Wylde

There’s often a common thread that runs through my coaching sessions.

It’s not surprising that fear around next steps—whether in business or life—often shows up.

The clients that I work with have a deep desire to live a values-inspired life.

They know this one beautiful life isn’t something to take for granted.

It takes daily courage to opt in.

To make bold, heart-based decisions.

To create meaningful impact—not just for their companies and teams, but for their families, communities, and most importantly, themselves.

And still—It can feel easier to play it safe.

To stick with the career path others expect of you.

To base decisions on what the world around you is doing.

To delay following your heart because the path isn’t clear yet.

To listen to old stories about what you're capable of, or worthy of.

We’re wired for comfort. We seek stability.

But comfort and stability do not necessarily lead to fulfillment and joy.

Fulfillment often requires risk.

The risk of being misunderstood.

The risk of leaving what’s “working” to follow what’s calling.

The risk of failure.

The risk of success.

The risk of becoming more you than you’ve ever allowed yourself to be.

But that’s where aliveness lives.

In the decision to say yes—even with shaking hands. In the choice to trust your inner knowing over external noise. In the moment you realize you’d rather live a meaningful life than a managed one.

So if you’re standing at an edge—wondering if the risk is worth it—let this be a reminder:

The risk is the way.

Not because it’s easy.

But because it’s honest.

And because on the other side of risk is the life that’s been waiting for you all along.
